Chesterfield Corner Sofas

Although the 4th Earl of Chesterfield probably never envisaged his eponymous sofa being made into a corner sofa we think it is a natural progression!

The COWDREY and the COMPTON ranges are really the only sofa ranges suited to being made into a corner sofa. Although the most popular ‘format’ is the right angled version but we can also supply them with a curved corner section but this does use more space as well as add to the cost – please ask for details.

The dimensions are approximate and are based on a sofa depth of 95cms overall (seat depth 63.5cms) while prices apply to the COWDREY range only. Using the Compton range will add slightly to the cost.

• There are a wide range of standard sizes but if you require a different size from those specified below please contact us to discuss your requirements or for a quotation.
• All corner groups can be configured to the left or right.
• Can also include a fold-away bed or a chaise longue/matching footstool.
• Can be covered in any leather or fabric – FREE samples available on request.
• Front border available with single or double row of buttons or can be left plain.
• Arm facings can be left plain or include one of a choice of metal studding or self-coloured piping.
• Contrasting colours can be used on the buttons and piping.
• Buttons can be replaced with Swarovski crystals (or similar).
• Can be supplied ‘plain’ without buttoning.
• Number of seat cushions can vary according to requirements.
• Plain or buttoned seat can be used instead of seat cushions at an additional cost.
• Variety of seat cushion fillings including hollowfill fibre, foam (with or without fibre wrap), feather or foam with a feather wrap.
• Fabric price includes our standard velvet but is available in other cotton or crushed velvets or other types of fabric. Samples available on request – prices will vary.
• Leather price includes standard antique ‘rub-off’ leather while other corrected, semi and full aniline grain leathers are also available. Samples available on request. Prices will vary.
• Can be supplied in customer’s own material. Please note that any fabric supplied will require an appropriate fire treatment as an interliner cannot be used.
